Scott lives and works in Oakland, California and has been recording and writing music professionally for over 25 years.

I have been writing, recording, and producing records since I was fourteen years old; music is undoubtedly my greatest passion in life. I have experience performing, writing, producing, managing, and touring. I have done everything from DIY promotion to releasing multi-million dollar major label albums. I’ve also consulted music, tech, and social media startups. Twenty-four years ago, I moved across the country from Vermont to follow my dream of making music my career. Since then, I have written, produced, and recorded countless albums on which I play every instrument. One of my greatest accomplishments is the band I started, The Lovemakers. In 2004, we signed to Interscope Records and went on to create several hit songs and sell out venues consistently nationwide. I also have a solo project called Yachtclub101 which is on it’s way to becoming a world wide success.

In 2016, I opened a bar with one of my music partners, Jeff Saltzman (producer of The Killers Hot Fuss and former manager of Green Day). The Bar was closed down due to COVID-19. In addition to building the bar, we built an adjoining world class studio where we sign potential up and coming artists, write and arrange their songs, produce, manage, and occasionally shoot music videos. We also record every band that plays at the bar, whether it be Jazz Trios or Alt-Country acts through Neve consoles and 1176 compressors. Finally, we feature the recordings over a podcast that I also produce and host.
